Amazon Rainforest of Ecuador
The Oriente, Ecuador’s term for its Amazon basin, is part of the largest tropical rainforest on in the world, and home to exotic animals such as caimans, monkeys, tapirs, freshwater dolphins, anacondas, jaguars, and astoundingly prolific bird life. This verdant landscape has also been home to Native American groups for thousands of years.
